EarthSoc Cardiff is the society for those studying Earth and Ocean Science's as well as anyone else who fancies joining.  The aim of EarthSoc is give everybody interested in Earth and Ocean Sciences the chance to meet and get to know each other. We organise socials and have several crazy nights out each term; this year with a highlight of the EarthSoc Christmas Ball. Alongside the main EarthSoc group there are the EarthSoc football and netball teams which regularly compete in the inter-society leagues, and this year there is also the possiblity of an EarthSoc rugby team depending on interest.

So if you're keen to meet new people and have a fun time just join up!

Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) Cardiff Chapter

For anyone studying Geology or Exploration Geology at Cardiff the Cardiff Chapter of SEG provides a unique insite into the Exploration and Mining industry. Events will include a series of presentations given by members of the mining industry and academic communities (usually on Tuesdays from 5pm). Fieldtrips are planned in addition to this.

Join the Cardiff Chapter of the Society of Economic Geologists Membership is only £3 per year (£2 renewal for exisiting members)
