Welcome to Cardiff University Ladies Basketball club!

This year we have a 1st team entered into BUCS for those who seek the opportunity to play basketball in a competitive league and a 2nd squad for beginners and enthusiastic players who want to improve their skill level. We also have weekly social events that are a great way to get to know your team mates properly!

Last season was extremely successful, with our 1st team finishing close runners up and our 2nd team coming 4th out of 9 other BUCS teams, all of which were 1st teams! Our most exciting and memorable achievement was the 2012 Welsh Varsity game. "A particular highlight was the Women’s Basketball, in which Cardiff won by 42 points, leading 79 to Swansea’s 37." Cardiff Students' Union

We want to continue to succeed as a club in the forthcoming season, so join us and be part of it! Look out for our stall at the Sports Fayre in freshers week on Wednesday 26th September 10am-5pm.

All training takes place at Talybont Sports Centre, Field Hall on the following days:

- Tuesdays @ 7-8.30pm 
- Thursdays @ 6-7.30pm 
- Sundays @ 6.30-8pm
