We aim to cultivate educational, social and cultural awareness and understanding amongst Malaysians and other communities in Cardiff and the United Kingdom in general. We believe it is essential to provide a platform to instil patriotism as well as celebrating diversities in each others’ cultures.

Every year, the Society organises three main events that cover the aspects of education, arts and culture, and sports. Our target is to expose Malaysia’s beautiful and diverse culture to foreigners as well as expand our horizons within the Malaysian communities in Cardiff, across the United Kingdom as well as Europe. Our most renowned event, the Festival of Diversity, was given its name by the Student Union, and has been by unspoken tradition, the opening or closing act during Go Global, the official ‘international week’ of Cardiff University. The Cardiff European Games organised by the Society is also the only major sports event held by a Malaysian Students’ Society in the UK, which incorporates universities from Europe and is authorized by Education Malaysia. The events held by the Society have clearly earned recognition from various organisations and parties. Apart from that, we do organize socials for our members once every fortnight, ranging from movie outings to day trips. We provide a platform for members to relax from studies and give them a opportunity to hangout with fellow Malaysians while experiencing the Welsh and British culture.
