The Student Scout and Guide Society, or SSAGS as we are more commonly known as, is one of the most active societies in the Cardiff University's Union. We started as as society in 1997 and since then we have been busy being active members of SSAGO - the Student Scout and Guide Organisation. Although everybody is welcome, the society is for people wishing to continue Scouting and Guiding - with a student twist, of course!

We have weekly social's on various nights throughout the year making it accessible for everybody. Many of our socials are what you'd expect from Scouts and Guides - rock climbing, hiking or even blind cooking(!) but we also take advantage of being students and you'll quite often find us in the pub! A couple of weekends every term we also head away and go camping for the weekend, quite often with similar groups from other universities around the country.
