SKIP Cardiff is a student-led, completely volunteer run, charity. For the past 12 years we sent volunteers to 2 orphanages in Belarus where, amongst other things, we aimed to decrease the stigma surrounding disability through integration into the wider community and increase the welfare of the children. Due to this project reaching sustainability we have now withdrawn. 

However, as a branch we are now in exciting times. We are currently aiming to set up a new project in Zambia which will be:
- community based
- sustainable
- aimed at improving the health, education and welfare of vulnerable children

As a charity we also aim to develop globally and culturally aware students who can advocate for local and global health in the future.
